BJ's Wholesale Club to Announce Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year-End Results on March 5, 2008

NATICK, Mass., Feb 25, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. (NYSE:BJ) plans to announce financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended February 2, 2008 on March 5, 2008 at approximately 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Also on March 5, 2008, BJ's management plans to hold a conference call at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss the fourth quarter and fiscal year-end results and the outlook for 2008. The dial-in number for the conference call is 913-312-1474. There will be no dial-in replay.

  1. In The New Club Orientation Guide that gets handed out when a club opens, they have a Revenue & Expense Structure Guide, which CLAIMS that based on every $1.00 they take in, $.88 goes to cost of goods, controllable expenses
    are $.07, non controllable expenses are $.04, leaving a PENNY(.01) PROFIT for every dollar
    brought in.....

I thought when Wedge left and Herb took controll things were going back to where it was years ago but I don't see any real changes for the better so far.to respond to the last comment,I don't feel that that anyone was mouthing the managers at all.Hopefully if more of the workers speak up maybe home office will open there eyes,and even managers like you will benefit from people like us.I am sure the employees know that the GMs don't have any control with the payroll they have to anwser to thier boss.in closing I think this sight is a good thing for all the employees and even the managers because we all need to support each other and we can make a difference.
